The staff was very friendly and helpful. I found a perfect new member of the family. They had all her medical records and information sent digitally, which is more convenient for my record-keeping.

This is a great to get a pet from, they are so helpful with all questions you have about different breed of animals. We got a beautiful puppy from here named Trix and she is a great addition to our family ❤️ Thank you guys for everything!

Adopted Oreo on October 23, 2021. The staff made the process easy and efficient, and I was heading home with my new dog within an hour of visiting. I will definitely come back when I am adopting again.

We went Friday to the Humane Society and my husband and I had a wonderful experience! The staff was extremely friendly. The animals looked well taken care of and the kennels were very clean. We found our new baby here! I would recommend to anyone considering rescuing their next fur baby. I would definitely be a return adopter!

I appreciate all that this shelter does- however, I went to adopt a dog from here and was told they were waiting on his medical information and id have to come back in a few days for him. i offered to go ahead and sign something to show that i was serious, but was told it was fine and it could be done the day of. I showed up, at opening on the day they told me to show up, just to find out they gave him someone else before they even officially opened for the day. It felt like a waste of my time and gas. I ended up going to 4paws, in Ruston, and had a more pleasant experience there. I adopted another dog that also wasn't quite ready to go home, but they still let me do his paperwork and adoption interview while we waited, to solidify that I was preadopting him.
