My daughter loves to go see the animals here and play with them. The staff are so kind and even tell her educational things about the animals.

My husband adopted a 5 year old male cat named Louie. He is an absolute sweetheart, his original name was Christian Gray, his new and permanent name is Albus Dumbledore, he is a dream cat, he is the embodiment of chill. Thank you to the Lancaster team who is there taking care of these sweet fur babies everyday. 🫶❤️

My boyfriend and I adopted Lil corn 🌽 shown here. The staff is very kind friendly and caring. All concerns and questions addressed. Visiting with corn was very comfortable and we fell in love right away. Highly recommend Lancaster humane league to adopt your next furry pet 🐾 ❤

The “ manager “ girl did not even let my dog play with the one we were meeting with for even a minute. and the dogs were fine playing together. Never going back here again, no wonder they have so many dogs there still waiting to go to a nice lovable home, so sad. She was also very rude lol, not sure why she acted the way she did, if she wanted the dog we were looking at so bad she can take him home herself, again no bad interactions were made with my dog and the other dog. Save your time and don’t go there.

Took my boy here today to get fixed today and they treated him like a king! I could tell that he was loved! The staff today were all warm and welcoming and I definitely felt safe leaving him here! Oh and they let him bring the spring with him that he’s obsessed with! 10/10 recommend :)
