Hope Lock Kennels

We have been coming to Hope Lock for obedience training for our Catahoula/German Sheppard/Cattle Dog mix since we rescued him one year ago. He was so fearful of everything at first; especially people, car rides, trash trucks, loud noises, etc. It took about a month to get him comfortable enough to jump into the car by gradually luring him in without even leaving the driveway. The training with Missy and exposure to people and other dogs at Hope Lock has been an awesome journey as we watched him blossom into a well-behaved companion. Now, one year later after my husband's recent surgery, I am able to walk my two dogs together for 2 miles comfortably, talk to friends and pass other dogs without worrying about him reacting negatively thanks to the training at Hope Lock and practicing Miss

Our dog has visited Hope Lock twice now. Once for an extended period and the other for a weekend stay. The staff is super lovely and Missy (the owner) is very responsive. I was very anxious the first time we boarded her and her warmth put me at ease. You can tell they are just dog people who will love your fur babies for the short time they get them! I love that it's on a farm and my dog has her own run. She always comes back well rested, well fed and exercised! I think the pricing is very reasonable for the location, personnel and services. I have had other sitters come in home and charge me more for only hanging out with my dog for an hour or so. I highly recommend.

They always look after our dog Figo we have become regular customers and appreciate their level of quality service. Figo loves coming here and more importantly we always pick him up looking all happy and healthy. Happy customer we are thank you.

Been going to Hope Lock for years . Been training my dogs with Missy and have seen great success also we board our dogs at her kennel everyone is so friendly .

I just want to thank Missy & Hope Lock Kennels. I am so grateful I joined their obedience classes. My 2 year old chocolate lab Reesie is in the advanced class and my puppy Tikka will be starting the obedience beginner class in July. Reesie recently passed the Canine Good Citizens test and I cannot thank Missy enough for giving us the tools to accomplish this major accomplishment. I cannot wait to see what Tikka will do.
