Super welcoming and kind. I have a large and sensitive dog and finding him care that he won’t panic returning to has been a challenge until Hill country! From Hiro’s very first visit they have been incredibly patient and caring, both Vet and vet techs are extremely knowledgeable, professional and have an undeniable love for the animals in their care. They always help Hiro have the best visit he possibly can and always offer alternatives to help meet his needs and care. They’re gentle and do their best to work with me to help understand and treat my dog’s illness. Prices are more than fair and always offer treatment plans that work within my budget. So happy to have found this animal hospital and I always recommend them to friends and family when they’re looking for a new vet.

I made an appointment for my cat who had been in an emergency clinic overnight for extensive testing and a blood transfusion. She wasn’t eating and not improving. The staff was kind and helpful agreeing to see my cat the day I called. Dr Peterson was wonderful. He was so compassionate and gentle with my kitty and discussed all scenarios and options for her treatment. She had been through so much so my husband and I decided on euthanasia since any treatment might not extend her life for long and put her through more trauma. We want to thank all of you at Hill Country AH for being so kind and supportive during our sweet kitty’s last moments. I hope we will be blessed with other fur babies in the future and will most definitely choose you as their Veterinary hospital.

I have been taking my dogs here since 2005. My dogs have always received excellent care. I love the staff they are great with Jack and Daisy. Dr. Peterson is not only an excellent veterinarian, but a good person. I would and have recommended Hill Country Animal Hospital to friends and family.

We take our daschund in for teeth cleaning every six months along with his annual shots and have always had a great visit. Staff is kind and professional. They take care of Baxter as if he was one of their own. Highly recommend Hill Country for your pets care.

Incredibly rude and incompetent staff. Took my dog in earlier this week for neck/back related issues. Doc gave him some pain meds with a 2 week timeline to see if he improves. My dog continues to show no signs of improvement. So I call back to an extremely rude operator at the front desk. The vet then recommends me to seek ER attention. I call the two places they recommended, just for them to not have the neurology specialist we are seeking available today. I understand a doctor’s unavailability, however if he needed to see a neurologist, why didn’t we refer him to one from the get go? Understand my frustration as a paying customer and a dog owner. To their credit the Doc and Nurses are extremely kind and respectful. The same cannot be said for the staff up front. Would not recommend this
