I’ve had many bad experiences with vets giving me short answers, not giving me calls back, seeming annoyed by my questions, and not giving my baby the comfort she needed especially with being at a vet clinic… at Highlands Eldorado from start to finish single staff member I encountered was extremely helpful, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to be there! My dog Nala is pretty anxious and never sits still when she’s nervous, however, she was so calm being here! (Added picture) Even when she received her shots! And although I am heartbroken she tested positive for heart worms, I was walked through every treatment she was going to receive prices were discussed upfront, and they NEVER ONCE tried upselling me on a service. Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary Hospital has been amazing with our dog, Ollie who unfortunately believes everything on the ground is edible. Socks, random objects, you name it… if it fits in his mouth, he’ll try it. Because of that, Ollie is basically a regular here, and I can honestly say the staff has taken incredible care of him every single time. They’re patient, thorough, and never make us feel judged for showing up yet again because our dog made another questionable life choice. The funniest part? Ollie actually loves going there. The second he sees the staff, his tail goes wild like he’s visiting old friends. That alone says everything. I was so glad they were able to fit us in that day! The vet tech absolutely made our visit easier. Our vet recently passed away and he loved our dogs. Katie had that same passion and it gave me such comfort when our beagle fell ill on a trip. It has been such a difficult time trying to find a vet in our hometown. But we had been patients at HEVH for 20 years prior to moving away. When we couldn’t get an appointment locally and in a last ditch effort I called HEvH. We were 4+ hours away on a trip but they worked with us to set up an appointment. When we got there Dr. Feltrin was thorough and made sure we were in good shape before sending us home with medication and treatment plan. Our dog needed bladder stone surgery. Our vet recommended Dr. Trigg as he had more experience with blockages. She is doing great and in the healing process. Very grateful he had the expertise to help and that our vet had every faith in him too.

BEST VETERINARIAN IN MCKINNEY. Doctor Feltrin SAVED my cat. I have been to two other veterinary offices, and they couldn’t figure out what my cat’s problem was. Doctor Feltrin looked at my cat in many ways. She did everything possible to save my cat. The pictures you will see are of the treatment before and after with Dr. Feltrin. My cat is healthy and playing again. If your pet needs a vet, take them to Highlands-Eldorado. The staff is very helpful and outgoing, and my sweet Dr. Feltrin has my gratitude forever.
