Hickory Grove Animal Hospital

I've been taking my dogs to Hickory Grove for almost 10 years. They've taken care of them through minor issues, surgeries, and even cancer (and eventually end-of-life euthanasia). The staff is extremely caring, supportive, and competent. The doctors have been the best I've ever used; extremely knowledgeable, caring, but also practical and flexible when needed. Hickory Grove has treated our 3 pups during varying degrees of illness, and they've handled every situation beautifully. When my dog got cancer, they never pushed me into treatments or made me feel guilty about the decisions I made about level of care. Dr. Richar is one of the most compassionate, professional and kind veterinarians you will ever meeting. She showed extraordinary patience and guidance with my senior parents when they had to make the decision to put down their beloved dog of 15 years. It is impossible to convey the peace my parents felt on such a sad day because of the care and kindness displayed by Dr. Richar, and her team, Yader and Pam. If you need a veterinarian to care for your family pet, Dr. Richar can't be recommended enough by our family.

Very thoughtful staff when it comes to my busy body pup! Also great conversation and clear direction. The gentleman gave me tons of info including possible repercussions and possible financial setback if process is stalled. This is very helpful during these tight times while I am making decisions about all of our family’s care.

We have been with Hickory Grove Animal Hospital since 2003, our pets have always received excellent & loving care. The lobby is clean and it actually smells good. The staff are animal lovers, always greeting us and all clients with a smile. I see them loving on every pet that walks in. I've recommended them numerous times all with excellent results!!
