In dealing with my most recent loss with the love of my life, the one I held dearest to my heart, I felt it necessary to acknowledge the rare kindness, professionalism and compassion shown by Dr. Daniel Armstrong. As a client with Heathsville Animal Clinic for over fifteen years, I've grown very comfortable with "Dr. Dan" just as I was with his father as the prior DVM. The thing I find most astonishing about Daniel Armstrong isn't his handsome looks, it is that on every occasion he has ALWAYS shown the utmost respect in listening to my concerns for my animals, he has been thorough in finding prognosis, and he has NEVER ONCE shown poor "bedside manor". The staff and Dr Dan are always the best. I had to send my Yorkie, Rex, across the rainbow bridge last Wednesday. The time and care they took with Rex and I was amazing. It is one of the hardest things to do but I stayed with him till his last breath. Dr Dan never rushed me and was so kind. Thank you all so much for your compassion and getting my boy home in less than a week. ❤️❤️

Great Vet and Staff. Our 19 yr old crossed the rainbow bridge and they were so compassionate before during and after the appointment. Communication is great from the time you sign in until you leave!!

The vet techs and assistants here are all top-notch, very gentle with animals and their humans when they are hurting. Dr. Dan is the absolute best, kind yet humorous, quick and concise when handling his patients, and excellent at explaining the course of action prescribed. Everyone here is the best possible combination of professionalism and compassion, and the team does a great job at running a clean, quiet, and efficient haven for creatures in need.

We live in Richmond (70 miles away) and take our pets to Heathsville for checkups, vaccines, pet meds. Prices are great, the staff and doc are kind and the operation always seems to run smoothly. They also have another office in Warsaw, about 30 minutes away.
