Excellent, Care given to our dog Honey, she is taking her antibiotic medication post surgery of one tooth removal and cleaning of her teeth on January 15, 2026. Other medication given times once for discomfort eating her regular food, treats and drinking her water without any problem! she is a happy sweet heart! God Bless to all that took care of our little baby Honey!

Mostly great...but be careful which vet you see. Dr. Montanez-Pagan and Dr. Gerena are fantastic, very thorough, communicative, and empathetic. Dr Wilkinson has been fantastic, always thorough and professional. He has always been a straight-shooter while maintaining a kind demenor. After 2 very bad experiences we absolutely refuse to see any other vet in the practice other than the ones mentioned.

My dog hurt his leg so we brought him to Heart of Florida early next morning. We didn’t have an appointment but they saw him and helped us out. Not only do I love this Vet but my dog does as well! Very nice and accommodating folks.

I recently moved to the area and I’m so happy I found Heart of Florida Animal Hospital & Pet Resort! My baby(Honey) had a UTI and even though I didn’t have an appointment, they let me drop her off and checked her in between other pets. Thankfully, everything was taken care of quickly and she’s now a healthy, happy baby again. I really appreciate their kindness and care! Highly recommend. 💕🤍💯☺️👍🐶

Our 1st time there with our 4 year old toy poodle who has been having stomach issues. They were very helpful and kind to our pet. Explained things very well. They ran a battery of tests, which thankfully came back okay. They then made suggestions for different food. We were extremely satisfied.
