Healthy Pets of Hayden Run

This is one of the hardest and most painful reviews I have ever had to write. I left my three-year-old, otherwise healthy dog in the care of Healthy Pets of Hayden Run for an overnight stay, and she never came home. Truth was admitted for an intestinal blockage after I was told she would receive fluids and be monitored overnight to see if she could pass the blockage before proceeding with surgery. After her death, I was informed that she was not monitored overnight at all and was left unobserved—directly contradicting what I was told when I agreed to her care. I received no updates, no phone calls, and no warning that her condition had worsened. I only learned that my Truthie had died after I personally called the clinic the following morning. After taking a couple weeks to process the death of my 4 year old Great Dane, I felt it absolutely imperative to share my experience. Healthy Pets has treated my animals for years. With that being said, my Great Dane developed a limp and we took her in for observation. We were told to monitor and come back in a month. The limp worsened and she had developed bone cancer in her front leg. In short, we lost a month of cancer treatment because our concerns were minimized. After the diagnosis, my original thought was treatment with Chemo to extend her life and say our goodbyes peacefully. Love this place! Very caring about your animal, took my dog in for grooming and they did an amazing job, they took their time with the grooming and giving my dog breaks in between because he has anxiety, when my dog is not feeling well they always reassure me that he will be okk and that they’ll take care of him :)

Cannot say enough how amazing the staff is here. Dr. Mazik saved my 9 year old dogs life, they got me in the same day & proceeded to do emergency surgery within the hour. My dog had closed pyometra that would have taken her life if Dr. Mazik wouldn't have caught it & treated it very promptly. Extremely grateful for the people here.

We joined this clinic shortly after adopting our baby mini schnauzer Theo. Dr. Soroosh and his team were happy, welcoming and clearly explained upcoming services for our new addition. We had such a good 1st experience we brought our adult cat in for a 2nd opinion and with clear course of treatment we felt at home.
