Havertown Animal Hospital

I have been going to this practice since it opened. We have seen Dr. Orr, Dr. Katie and Dr. Lew. Last year we had to have our 16 year old Shih Tzu put down. Dr. Katie knew how broken hearted our family was. The whole family was there and we all were welcome in with our pup. Dr. Katie made it a gentle sacred time for us. Our pup didn't shake, wasn't scared and her calming influence put him at peace while she helped him to cross over. Our family is forever indebted to this practice. Dr. Lew and Dr Orr are also amazing. They have helped so much keeping our 16 year old rescue happy and healthy. They all are our second family and we love their kindness, gentleness and medical knowledge!!

I've taken my two cats and dog to Havertown Animal Hospital since Dr. Katie and Dr. Lew opened the practice and I'm so pleased with the care my pets receive. The doctors and staff amaze me with their knowledge, kindness, empathy, and communication. It's great to have a local family-owned practice where pets are treated based on evidence and genuine care and not on private equity metrics. Can't recommend them enough!

Last week I went to Havertown Animal Hospital with my dog who had been experiencing seizures. It was a bit emotional for me but Dr. Orr was extremely knowledgable, calm and gentle. I really felt like he cared about my dog and he has even called me a few times to check in to see how things are going. I left feeling more at peace about our options and it really stuck with me that he said no matter what we decided to do we had his full support. Highly recommend!

Dr. Springer and her entire staff are simply fantastic. My cat and I especially appreciated the amazing cat room. The bird feeder and open window made him ( and me ) feel right at home. Dr. Springer even had bird sounds playing for my guy. Rachel, our tech, was patient, had a super calming nature, and was wonderful in every way. The front desk staff was spectacular and made us feel like family. If you are looking for a caring, compassionate, and best overall experience from walking in the door to checking out, this is the place to go. Family owned, which is rare these days, adds a great feeling and energy for both you and your pet(s). So thoughtful in every way. This is by far the best experience we've ever had with a vet. You can feel the love everyone on staff has for the animals from the minute you set foot in this office, AND they're incredibly responsive and efficient.
