I can't recommend Luis & Harmony enough- in 4 weeks I have already seen tremendous growth and improvement with my rescue mini schnauzer, Petunia. We didn't get the full picture of her behavior from the rescue we got her from, and found out pretty quickly when we brought her home that she was reactive to a lot of things. We were unable to do things like pick her up to put her in the car, wipe her paws, dress her for cold weather, brush her, dry her off if it was raining out...really touch her at all without her going full gremlin mode and biting without warning. I was completely overwhelmed and tried methods to help minimize her biting that I found online, but didn't see improvement. I can’t say enough good things about Harmony Dog Training School! My dog, Nova, absolutely loves it here. She comes home fulfilled, enriched, and genuinely happy after every visit. Honestly, she gets mad at us on the days we don’t take her to “school” the attitude is real. 😂 The staff is amazing. They don’t just supervise; they truly work with each dog. Nova has picked up so many training tips and tricks, and the guidance they share with me has been super helpful at home too. Harmony did an AMAZING job with my 13 month European Doberman Chief. We dropped him off for the 3 weeks intensive training program. The focus was on Chief’s ability to control his excitement and stay focused when in public and meeting new people. Prior to his stay at Harmony he would jump up on you and give kisses and not listen to recall. He’s almost to sweet and friendly, we just needed to show him how to control it. When we got him back it was night and day. He listens 100% better. His leash manners and public manners are much better and easier to control. We were giving a training session to make the transfer from Harmony back home. They showed us his commands and how to properly continue training after you leave. Can’t begin to say how much my family and I appreciate the care that Luis and his great crew gave my son’s dog. We brought Gunner to Luis a few years back for board and train and were very impressed with the difference in him. Everyone there was so kind. They all genuinely care for the wellbeing of the animals they take on board. We recently took Gunner to be boarded while we went on vacation. It went so well, Gunner came home very relaxed and happy.
