A terrible adoption center!! My friend’s two Saint Bernard's aren’t being given back to her due to the microchips being under her ex-husbands name. He has said himself he does not want ownership of the dogs. They also spayed her ONE year old female Saint Bernard without her knowledge!!! I am disturbed by their behavior towards her when she takes great care of her baby’s!

These are someone’s dogs that they are refusing to return. She has proof of ownership from vet visits, and they also have confirmation from her ex husband that he has released ownership of them to her. They have still not only refused to return them…they’ve now placed them up for adoption. How often does this happen at this shelter? Please contact me if you have had a similar situation, I am contacting local news stations with this story and would love to hear from others. Yes, she has filed a police report.

I fostered a dog for a couple of weeks and then decided that I wanted to adopt her. Simone (the foster coordinator) made the process so very easy and seamless. From the foster to the adoption. She even still checks on her after I adopted her. Simone is very knowledgable, kind and caring and HHPAC is blessed to have her.

I can't even put into words how amazing everyone is that works there. (It isn't really work when it is coming from your heart right?) They say we rescue and give homes and unending love to all the fur babies that end up there for one reason or another, but the staff are the true rescuers. Simone.... You are a blessing to every fur baby past, present, and future that visited.( never permanently) the love, compassion and patience that you have shows without words. The love you give freely to every baby I know makes a world of difference. Thank you to everyone that made my experience so amazing! Thank you for loving my baby before I met her. I am Forever grateful!
