Happy Mailman Dog Retreat

YOUR DOG IS NOT SAFE HERE. I received my dog back and he had an injury below his eye and deep cut under his mouth. He was clearly attacked and they made no attempt to tell me. They obviously weren’t monitoring dogs. And weren’t creating a safe environment. I can forgive accidents but this is negligence. I was informed by my friend who picked him up that the people at this facility did not notice the injury until his bath on the last day and when they did notice it, there was a scab over his eye meaning that he likely went multiple days after an injury with nobody noticing which is probably why they didn’t reach out to me. And the gash under his mouth. Clear signs of an attack. The worrying part is that I trust my dog with these people but they are clearly not attending the dogs closely eno

We’ve been sending our 2 large dogs to Happy Mailman for several years. They’ve always been accommodating and friendly, and clearly love our pups as much as we do. Play day, boarding, baths, all top notch. There appears to be a steady supply of really awesome dogs that play here, are guys jump out of the car and come home exhausted! Convenient app, easy to contact and pay. Fully recommend!

Our dog stayed at Happy Mailman for a week over the recent Christmas break and loved it. Their staff is so kind, compassionate, and communicative. If you get to interact with Ryan, take my word that you and your dog are in great hands. It obvious that he has a huge heart for dogs and providing a top-notch customer experience, and he is what made our experience with Happy Mailman so exemplary. One more note that some folks might find useful to know before trying to book a reservation: Happy Mailman does something interesting that I found not only assuring, but super helpful: before you can board your dog for the first time, they do a day-long (~8 hrs) intake of your dog–for free!–to see how they mix with all the others pups. This place is FANTASTIC! My pup cannot wait to get in there for daycare and when she comes back it is clear she played hard all day. The people that work there are super friendly and clearly love dogs. The front greeting area is very clean with a wash station stocked with shampoo and towels that they let you use free when you take your dog home (or you can pay to have them do it). Prices are very reasonable.

Wonderful place for a wide variety of dogs. My dog Chip goes weekly for daycare and has been boarded there a few times. The employees are very in tune with every dog and keep them grouped according to the various personalities and sizes. 10/10 love this place.
