I adopted my dog almost 3 weeks ago from here and couldn’t be happier! Since they are strictly foster based, I was so glad I got to meet the foster family during the meet and greet process. Talk to them to understand her personality, how she engages with other animals and people, what her favorite toys/treats are, and anything that could help make her transition period easier. They really find people who absolutely love and adore these animals to help start their healing process. They’re a small, volunteer based rescue, so know that communication may be slow. Just be patient and they will get back to you! They are really trying to make sure they are finding the right homes for these sweet fur babies. I would 100% rescue from them again. The wait was absolutely worth it!

Giving 3 stars because we love our rescue dog but communication with the rescue is terrible and he came with absolutely no vetting. It was a shock to find out that he has roundworm, Giardia, and coccidia. He was in their care for 3 weeks and a simple fecal test should have been done so he could have at least started treatment before coming to a house with other animals. I had reached out to notify the rescue since the foster mentioned she had several other puppies and received no response. I would recommend a rescue who at least keeps up with vet check ups while the animals are in their care

What’s the point of wanting to rescue/adopt a dog if it takes 3-4 weeks for a response? In those 3-4 weeks we didn’t want to give up looking but also were on the fence because we had thought we found the perfect puppy for our family. The pup we went to see at an adoption event was 7 months old. Now 4 weeks later we receive an email indicating their appreciation in our interest. They also required a couple photos of the area to which the puppy would sleep eat and play. Oh we definitely responded right away but again, have not heard back in 4 days. Quite honestly, we don’t expect a response for another 3 weeks. Now the puppy would be 9 months and we miss out on the puppy experience!!! This rescue is a complete joke!! Not sure how anybody supports this type of unprofessionalism. Kudos t

I was interested in a bonded pair of pups. The description made it sound like they were well on their way to potty training. That was not at all true. They clearly had had zero potty training. The foster mom (who was the sweetest!) said she had 12 foster dogs in her house. I can't blame her for not starting training with that many fosters. It didn't surprise me that she had so many fosters with the lack of communication from this place. I did adopt the pups and now will be spending thousands of dollars to take them to a behaviorist for boarding school for 2 weeks to hopefully get them house trained.

We have had a terrible experience with this rescue. I want to believe that they are generally working ethically and have good intentions with the animals they are trying to find homes for but our experience just did not reflect that. Horrible communication, massive lapses in care they agreed to in the adoption paperwork (heart worm treatment and a spay) and what I can only describe as undisclosed medical information that prevented us from making sound ethical choices about what we could afford and take on. Please take your time to thoroughly vet this rescue if you plan to adopt from then.
