This rescue and their staff are phenomenal! We got the most beautiful puppy who while initially nervous (normal considering what they go through) was virtually leash and potty trained. Every day is better than the next with our rescue and staff here were instrumental in guiding us as first time dog owners. Dawn in particular has been so helpful and amazing texting and assuring us through those first few days. Highly recommend! PS they are busy caring for many animas so please be patient and understanding!

I am in awe of Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue! These ladies are absolutely amazing. I have adopted two adorable and loving dogs from them. My first girl came from a backyard breeder/hoarder and was in horrible shape when surrendered. GOFAR got her much-needed vet care and made sure I received all medicines and instructions to continue her care at home. The second girl I adopted was from a breeder and was abandoned when she didn't get pregnant. They are both thriving and happy girls now, full of love and life. GOFAR ensures every animal they adopt out is fully vetted. If advice is needed after adoption, they give it. They rescue all kinds of dogs, from purebred dogs dumped by breeders to mixed/unloved breeds in very tough situations who need lots of medical care. They do not turn a blin
