Groomingdales Pet Salon

I've been happy with this groomer until today. Although I've used them for a while now, I had never met the owner (Bettye) until today. Wow! Customer service is NOT her specialty. Turns out grooming isn't either. 👎 First, she berated me for saying I wanted a teddy bear cut. According to her - and she "went to grooming school!" - that's not really a style of cut. She said it's actually called a lamb cut. I agreed that she could call it whatever, but made sure she understood I did not want a poodle cut. When I got home & looked up lamb cut I got a little nervous, as that's not near the same as a teddy bear cut. But I trusted that Nancy (the sweet lady who I have always dealt with) knew what I wanted & it would all be fine. It was not all fine. I was so shocked by the horrible grooming job do

Been bringing my dog here for a while now, and every time, she comes home excited and wagging her tail. My dog is very reactive when getting groomed and hates having her face touched, but both Nancy and Betty are patient with her like no other groomer 🤍

AK loved it, he was happy, he came out very happy and was clean for at least 2 days, he is a naughty dog, I loved how clean he turned out

My dog, Lilly, has always hated having her nails clipped. Groomingdale's did an amazing job with Lilly. They were patient with her and calmed her down when she got nervous and stressed and they made sure she walked out with a mouthful of treats. They get 5 stars from me and another 5 stars from Lilly.

Called the establishment to receive more information about their services as I am new to the area and looking for a new groomer. The owner answered at first politely. After hearing my voice, she instantly gained an attitude and began to respond to me very condescendingly as I began to explain what services I am looking for. I was shocked as I had never been spoken to this way over the phone, especially since this was my very first interaction with the business. I would not recommend this business as customer service is a priority for all services I search for. I would not feel comfortable leaving my dog with this business from that interaction alone.
