We have absolutely loved having our dog at Grateful Dog for boarding, daycare, and grooming! They treat her very much like their own dog. During boarding we received updates, photos, and she came home happy and much less stressed than I’ve ever seen her after boarding. She loves daycare and quickly learned the route, getting excited as we got closer, and showing happiness when we ask if she wants to go play with her friends. She comes home tired and happy, never once hesitating to go. Her grooming service is always timely and exactly what we ask for. My experience has been exceptional with the Grateful Dog grooming business located just past the Morgantown Mall. The groomers and staff are kind, accommodating, and my poodles look and smell wonderful after their services. I highly recommended this business to anyone in the Morgantown area.

We’ve been bringing our 1-year-old Aussiedoodle, August, to The Grateful Dog for about four months now, and it’s hands-down the best decision we’ve made for her. This was our first experience with boarding and daycare, and they’ve made it easy, safe, and actually fun—for both us and our dog. August absolutely lives for daycare. She gets so excited the moment we pull into the parking lot. The staff is amazing—friendly, attentive, and by her second visit, they already knew her name and how she interacted with the other dogs. You can tell they genuinely care. Boarding was just as great. We dropped her off with a few basics—some toys, her blanket, and food—and they took care of the rest. Our Bernedoodle, Hank visits Grateful Dog frequently for Grooming, Daycare and Boarding. He is always excited to arrive there and we know he has a great time! They send pictures of the dogs playing and their booking system is very user friendly! We really appreciate them!

There is not enough space or time to write the many positive things I want to say about Grateful Dog. I have five Rescues, and three of those attend day care. One can be a little challenging (Tree Walker/ /Dane Mix), so the stubbornness and mischief can emerge. Yvonne and her crew have been so patient working with him. Then, my youngest, a 10-month-old, was experiencing a medical problem not related to day care, and the staff immediately noticed a change and contacted me. Yvonne (the owner) put him in her vehicle and rushed him to the vet, so I could meet her there and save precious time. I was a wreck, and Yvonne stayed with me at the vet the entire time.
