GoodVets LoHi

We live in Lakewood so only came here when needing a USDA vet to help sign off on paperwork for my fur baby to travel to Switzerland with me. If I could give 6 stars I would! I received texts even after hours or immediately when they opened informing me of the next steps for the long and intense paperwork needed. They even caught that she needed her rabies shot (as europe does not see 3 year rabies shots as valid) and she needed it 21 days prior to leaving. They caught it on the day of and we were able to get her in. They answered all my questions and knew each step, even when I thought I had researched it plenty, they still made me so confident. We came here late on a Saturday after an emergency situation of needing my dog’s splint changed due to getting wet. Lisa over the phone was very kind and efficient and was able to get us in. The staff stayed after closing to look after Sherman. Sherman can be anxious at vet clinics but he absolutely loved every member of the staff he met here! He was also very excited about the dried beef liver treats offered to him in the exam room 🥰 The vet was very kind and took time to make sure we weren’t unnecessarily spending money for a bandage change. Everyone sat on the floor with Sherman while we spoke. Also the clinic is working as a fear free environment and has aesthetically worked to make this visually less stressful. My dog is a rescue and typically very anxious at the vet. I just brought her here for the first time and she did SO well! Better than anywhere else I have taken her. Cheyenne and Dr. Adaska were both so sweet and patient and kind I could tell she was much more relaxed than she usually is at her appointments. Would highly recommend!

I’m so glad I made the decision to take my cats to GoodVets LoHi. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. I was warmly greeted at the door by Teagan, their friendly and welcoming receptionist, which immediately put me at ease. The doctors on staff were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and thorough, taking the time to explain exactly what my kitties needed and why. Transferring my pets' records was quick and hassle-free. I left with the prescriptions I needed, along with clear, detailed instructions on how to get the medications and food they didn’t have on-site.
