We had such a great experience with Elizabeth and her boarding program! She took incredible care of our almost 5 months old puppy, Nellie, over a week while we were on vacation. We saw so much growth in such a short time. Nellie came back noticeably more confident being out in public after being thoughtfully socialized in a variety of businesses and environments. She also learned better play manners with other dogs—how to engage appropriately and how to take breaks, which has been huge for us. On top of that, she helped reinforce and continue Nellie’s potty training, she came back home indicating when she needed to go out. We also loved receiving daily photo and video updates of Nellie’s progress—it was so great to see how well she was doing and how much care and attention she was gettin

2 weeks ago, I adopted a 2 year old Boxer from Foothills Animal Shelter as a companion for my 12 year old Boxer/Lab mix. The pups a had nice meet & greet before the adoption, however within the first 24 hours of bringing Rocky into my home, he had 3 fights with my old pup Ramsey. I've never been around dog fights before and so this was quite intimidating for me, especially with such a big, strong dog. I was just about to take Rocky back to the shelter when I found Calvert's flier in my adoption packet and decided to give Elizabeth a call. Elizabeth made an emergency house visit same day. She was absolutely wonderful in assessing both pups, recognizing the trigger points, giving me tons of tips and showed me a drill I could do with the pups to help with their openness to each other, and als

We have had the best training and boarding experiences with Elizabeth and her team! Our 1 year old, 90lb golden retriever can be a lot to handle and they’ve helped him and us learn new, effective strategies for improved behavior! Previously, we had a hard time finding anyone who could manage his energetic behavior and size well and this team has been outstanding. They even boarded him when he had higher medical needs due to surgery recovery. They administered meds, got him the stimulation and modified exercise he needed and helped him heal as our hands were full with a newborn. Also, they send daily updates that put our minds at ease and assure us that our dear pup is thriving in their care.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Fantastic Puppy Training! I cannot recommend Calvert Dog Training enough! Their puppy training class has been an absolute game-changer for me, my husband and my pup. From the very first session, it was clear that trainer Elizabeth is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also patient, encouraging, and truly passionate about what she does. Elizabeth’s teaching style is both effective and fun—she makes sure every pup (and their owner!) feels comfortable and confident in learning. Her positive reinforcement techniques worked wonders, and I saw a noticeable improvement in my puppy’s behavior each week. She also took the time to address individual concerns and gave fantastic advice that extended beyond just basic commands. The class was well-structured, engaging, and a

I joined Elizabeth's group class at Foothills Animal Shelter with Hunter, my 8 month, out-of-control, black lab. What a great experience to learn from Elizabeth, who brings so much expertise to help both dogs and owners! We still have a lot of work ahead of us to get Hunter to be calm and leash-ready for public places but we have new approaches introduced by Elizabeth and can already see improvements. I was particularly impressed by Elizabeth's ability to identify and address individual dogs' needs in a group class. Thank you so much!
