We recently brought in our cat for sudden, significant weight loss and the team here have been so wonderful. They've taken such good care of our girl (and us tbh considering how stressed we've been!). They were able to get us a diagnosis and on the right meds and food. I can’t say enough good things about the care our cat, Coco, has received from the incredible staff at GoodVets Golden but I’m going to try. My girlfriend recently moved across country with her cat after having a decade long established relationship with her previous vet in another state. Soon after arriving in CO, she had to scramble to find a new vet when Coco unexpectedly required a tumor removal. And then scramble to switch vets again when she began experiencing complications at the incision site that have been particularly difficult to resolve. The stress was reaching such a breaking point I thought my girlfriend might pack up and head back across country just to get Coco the care she could feel confident about. I had a deeply frustrating experience with this veterinary clinic regarding the necessary follow-up treatment for my cat's coccidia infection. Despite the well-established protocol for treating such parasites, which often requires a second course of medication a couple of weeks after the first, the clinic refused to simply prescribe the required medication. They mandated an additional office visit and a costly fecal examination, totaling upwards of $190, before proceeding with treatment. This was in direct contradiction to a commitment I had received the day prior (via a phone call) that the medication would be prescribed. We have been with GoodVets for a couple of years now and have been to multiple locations. At every location, we have had a wonderful experience, including GoodVets Golden. We have worked closely with Dr. Knerr for years on a complicated chronic urinary issue with our cat and have seen significant progress. We always feel heard by the team and feel that our cats get the best treatment possible. I can’t recommend GoodVets enough! We trust their staff with our pets’ health fully! :)

Went here before loved the people and had a great experience there. last time I visited was different new vets new kid that looked like he was straight out of highschool and a heavier set lady gave me absolutely no answers for what was going on with my dog and I could hear them talking about me in the back so unprofessional and made me feel like something couldve been seriously wrong with my dog loki made me feel guilty for not having the money for a x ray gave me a huge bill that is leaving me short on rent this month and still absolutely no answers for my dog after all there expensive tests they left my dog traumatized from the visit he has never had a problem with the vet before absolutely will never be back glad my dog is feeling better no thanks to good vets
