Far and above the best pet boarding business in the twin cities! All of the staff are super nice and caring, everything is super clean, the facility is very well cared for, huge high-fenced play areas safe for even the most athletic dogs. My whippets are always full of energy and happy when they come home from a stay here, and it is clear from both my experiences and the way I have seen staff handle both my and others' dogs that the animals are very well cared for.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish with Goldwood Kennel. I have a dog with anxiety and reactivity that I was very anxious about boarding at a kennel for the first time. I had a good conversation on the phone where they asked the right questions and showed a lot of experience and professionalism. They encouraged me to stop by with my dog so she had some experience at the kennel before she staid there which I did. I was given a detailed tour and my dog did well in the setting. The place was clean, play areas for the dogs were large and secure and the individual spaces were a really good size. We have been boarding our dogs at Goldwood Kennels for about 35+ years. We know our dogs have always had the loving care they deserve. I know they get extra love when staff has time. At the end of their stay they get groomed and always smell so lovely when we are reunited at the end of their stay. I highly recommend Goldwood Kennels!

We’ve left our two pups, Maui and Ruth, at Goldwood Kennels a few times now and it’s safe to say we will not take them anywhere else. They are super attentive to the dogs and I can tell they have a blast every time. We requested a bath and nail trim this time before we picked them up and they looked so great with the little bows to their collars! They even updated me half way through their stay which was so nice! I highly recommend Goldwood Kennels for anyone needing to board their dogs for any type of stay.

Staff were warm, friendly, kind and reassuring when I dropped off my dog Ravi for his first experience (and mine) away from home at a boarding kennel. They asked questions about Ravi, his playtime activities, his personality and most important to a Lab… when he eats!! They interacted with Ravi the minute we walked in the door offering him pets and pats and again when I picked him up to go home.
