Golden Wood, Fairfield

I feel confident and reassured whenever my boy Honan stays with the friendly staff at Goldenwood, Fairfield. They treat him like he’s their own and he loves it there. The facility is clean, well maintained and secure. I love the convenience of their location and even though it is a little pricey, compared to other locations, it is by far the best place to take your furry family members when you have to be away!

The cat window suite here is fantastic! It’s roomy, secure, and private for helping cats feel calm and comfortable during their stay. My boys absolutely love gazing out the window all day, so it’s a perfect fit for them! The whole resort is spotless and thoughtfully organized, which really put my mind at ease. Plus, the staff are warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about caring for the pets. Highly recommend to all pet parents!

Never thought much of boarding my dogs until the new building at golden wood in Fairfield opened. My Stella goes one day a week to daycare and has recently boarded over nite. I must say I feel more vacations in my future now I have somewhere I trust with my baby girl.

My newly adopted senior German Shepherd &:I visited Golden Wood yesterday for a bath and blowdry; we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Friendly, caring and thorough since my 1st convo with them, they carried that through the process. I think my new guy wanted to stay lol! I can't express my gratitude enough for having such a clean, soft and happy new friend in my house! That and my house no longer smells like the rescue he came from. Thank you Golden Wood; we'll be back!

Our Retriever has stayed here a few times now and it has always been a great experience. I don't know everyone's name that has worked with our Rocky, but Holly and Liz are very welcoming and knowledgeable about dog. I can tell just by talking to them that this is more than just a "job" for them. Highly recommend. We also love getting the daily pictures texted to us of what Rocky is up to here.
