I am new to the area and I have 3 kitties. One has diabetes and gets sick from time to time. Needing to establish a new vet, I read through my fair share of reviews to choose which one to go to. My diabetic kitty was sick and having diarrhea throughout my house so I brought him here. Dr Nelson was very kind, he did a very thorough job and thoroughly explained all results to me, I never felt like he was rushing and he listened to me, which is important to me. Blood work was done, I brought a stool sample to test, he changed his insulin to a different brand, gave him an antibiotic. Everything luckily came back normal. However, the bill was insanely high. very very pricey. It cost me about $900 for the visit, no radiological tests were done either which is fine. but for the bill to be this hi

I have been taking my labs, Lucky and Coco, to Dr. Nelson for three years now and I could not be happier. The staff at Glenburn is absolutely amazing! They genuinely care about the well being of every fur family member that comes through their doors. The free vaccinations for life program is an added bonus to the amazing staff.

front desk receptionist. You’re rude, you picked a job to converse with people with a certain attitude and that’s politeness. At least give people the human decency of that.. and it’s a shame cause the Drs. Are really nice, you think you’d take some advice on that..overall great vet tho

Amazing veterinary practice just outside of Clarks Summit. My wife's family has been taking their Goldens there for years, so when we got our Lab puppy, it was an easy decision to take her there as well. It is clear that everyone there has a true passion for animals. We've had medical questions during closed hours, and the voicemail we left was returned that same day, even though the vet was closed. Very knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate. Highly recommend allowing them to keep your pets healthy.

Dr. Nelson and his staff are everything you want from a vet - kind, compassionate, experienced, and knowledgeable. We have 5 pets with needs from minor to major and he handles them each beautifully. I appreciate that he is able to explain his recommendations both technically and in layman's terms when needed. Full-heartedly recommended to any pet owner.
