Gettysburg Pike Animal Clinic

I have had many animals treated at Gettysburg.Animal clinic and they all have been so kind for every situation. From having a dog emergency early in the morning to them being able to treat my dog Finn in that morning even before hours.Was amazing and so kind, They are very caring even when we had a rainbow visit. And treated all of our pets warmly. Currently , we have new kitten that was found by my daughter on a roadway and she was able to have them check it that very day for diseases and overall health, and our orange kitten, Josey Wales has nothing but nice things to say about the office as well. I recommend this animal hospital because they care and they do what they can to accommodate every situation.

I moved my lab/coonhound Flynn’s care here several years ago as he struggled with general anxiety, and taking him to a very busy neighboring practice was added torture for him. I also was not happy with frequent recommendations for questionable additional tests for a seemingly healthy rescue. I LOVE that Dr Ramos is the only doctor here, and she does everything during our visit, including the exam/shots/blood draws and I am able to be the one holding him. As he is so comfortable now, I barely have to help him stay still. He adores her and her staff’s adoring demeanor. She always asks holistic questions about his and our daily life and adds specific needed advice. The staff gets us in and out so fast. We never wait. Dr. Ramos is absolutely the most wonderful Veterinarian I have ever found. She truly cares about every animal she treats and all of her staff are just as compassionate and caring. They are more than just animal caretakers- they are part of the pet family!

I've been coming to GPAC for about 6 years. My beloved Shih Tzu Lexi developed "doggy dementia" in her old age. The awful decision to euthanize her was made. She was no longer living a good life. I rescued her 14 years before and now I was losing my baby. Dr. Ramos and her staff have always been terrific. The doctor really treated Lexi with dignity and respect on that sad day. She made a deeply emotional time more bearable by her compassionate manner. It was heartbreaking for me as I held Lexi for her last breath. The doctor took her from me all the while comforting me, just as she had Lexi. I received a heartfelt card from them with Lexi's fur in it, such a sweet gesture. Dr. Ramos-Rivera is incredibly knowledgeable, down-to-earth, yet very professional, and has a huge heart and a kind soul. She is truly one of the kindest and most compassionate people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. She is one of the only vets I have worked with that truly take the time and cares. Visits to the vet can be extremely stressful for both the owner and the pet. Dr. Ramos works hard to reassure both the worried owner and the stressed animal. I wouldn't trust my dog with anyone else. I would highly recommend Dr. Ramos and her team!
