Georgia Dog Gym

I enjoyed training with my dog, Cyndy was an amazing trainer. She answered all my questions and concerns. Made sure having a solution for helping me better understand my dog. My dog comes with me to work to help teens that have experience trauma so having a trainer that can work on every level matters. Thank you so much!

I'd been boarding my dog, Tucker here and taking him to daycare for a few months (which was great) when I decided to try out the basic obedience class. Tucker is a good dog, but he and I had reached the limit of what I could train him to do on my own. Two sticking points were polite leash walking (not pulling ahead at every squirrel, cat or deer we saw) and coming when called. After six weeks of class (and homework, of course) I have a dog that can HEEL!!! It is wonderful. And he comes, on a regular basis even when a cat is tempting him, although we haven't tested that skill out in the most challenging scenario - with deer. Jennifer is simply AMAZING!! The puppy board and training camp is worth every penny. It’s a changed puppy behavioral wise. He saw Jennifer a week later and was over the moon excited to see her. It makes me happy to always have her to rely on. She always answers questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend her or Georgia Dog Gym for any pet needs! Also, she recommended the vet I use and I couldn’t be happier with who she referred.

I've taken the basic obedience dog class, private lessons, and boarded my dog here working with both Jennifer and Lindsey. I only have positive things to say about the Georgia dog gym and Mr Jimbo is doing much better because of their help. I feel totally comfortable leaving him with them when I have to go out of town and he enjoys staying with them. If you are willing to put in the work outside of class you will get a lot out of taking your dog to this school.

My dog Luz & I recently finished up a 6-week series of private lessons with Lindsey...she is a great trainer! My dog was very reactive and anxious before starting, so I knew private lessons would be our best option & it was worth the investment. Luz behavior (and my understanding of it) is completely different from day one! Lindsey is so good at explaining *why* dogs do certain behaviors and she always had a variety of ways to manage them with the dogs well-being at the forefront. I wish we could keep going to lessons forever but we're still working at home, and I'm looking forward to signing Luz up for a scent detection series soon! The gym itself is a large, amazing facility and was always so nice and clean when I visited. Obviously well taken care of. I would highly recommend Georg
