Gail's Groomerie

I had a very concerning experience at Gail’s Grooming in Naperville with the groomer Tim. I provided clear, step-by-step instructions specifically asking that my dog Koko’s top knot not be cut. When she was brought out, her top knot had been completely cut off. More importantly, she came out running with visible blood. When I asked what happened, Tim initially told me he thought she might be in heat. I informed him her cycle had already ended. After inspecting her myself, I discovered the bleeding was coming from her paw. At that point he stated it was her dewclaw and said it had “opened back up,” and took her to the back. After further questioning, it became clear he knew she had been cut during the grooming but did not disclose it and instead attempted to attribute the bleeding to her

Wonderful place! So great with dogs, but extra special with my cat! They do nail trim walk ins which was a big help too! Same employees for a long time, so that also shows what a great place it is to work! Highly recommend!

Gail’s Groomerie does beautiful work! I own a Pet Daycare & Boarding Facility called The Gold Leash Pet Hotel & Daycare and although we do basic grooming, we do not cut hair. So I researched and came across this place to bring my toy poodle, Barbie, and bernadoodle, Dakota. They consistently do a great job and are very patient as Dakota is a rescue with high anxiety and abandonment issues, and they help coordinate with me where I bring him to go straight into the tub and onto the table for his cut, and when they are almost done they call me to go and get him so he never has to be crated as crates are a trigger point for him. I appreciate them so much for this and my babies look beautiful. I tell all my customers to take their doodles there for cuts, I highly recommend.

Best groomer I have ever been to! You can really tell that everyone who works here loves animals, especially the owner! I have 2 golden doodles who tend to get a little tangled from time to time and this is the first groomer I have been to who hasn’t made me bad about my girls getting a little matted on occasion. I always feel so comfortable leaving my girls here. They always look so amazing when I pick them up! I’m sad I moved out of the area and will need to find a new groomer. Thanks, Gail’s Groomerie for always doing such a great job!

I've been using Gail's Groomerie for about 20 years with all different breeds. Large and small dogs, too. Lana is amazing and never disappoints me when I pick up my dogs! I highly recommend this dog groomer. Thank you Lana!!! Before and after photos!
