First time getting my dog groomed here went well, the second time not so much. My mom was the one who dropped off and picked up so I didn’t get to see my dogs till later in the week. But I am not happy with their groom. One of my dogs was supposed to get a de-shed, which looks like it wasn’t done thoroughly. He’s had de-sheds before and always looks so sleek and shiny. This time, it looks like he just got a bath and some trimming. I had to brush out the extra hair that was still falling off of him. I know it’s normal for dogs to lose a little hair afterwards but this was excessive. Usually not much hair is falling out especially after a de-shed. Secondly, my other dog has long lashes which I like to leave. I was told that the groomer said she had a note to not cut them yet she cut them an

I am giving two stars because the staff at the other location were friendly and professional. Otherwise, this would have been a one-star experience. I scheduled a grooming appointment and received a confirmation email listing an address approximately 20 minutes from my home. I drove to that location and was informed I was at the wrong site and needed to go to their other location closer to my home. I drove to the second location and arrived late due to the address provided in the confirmation email. At the counter, I explained who I was and why I was late. I was then walked to the back to meet the groomer. While I was explaining the situation, the front counter employee stated, “He was at the other location.” I responded that the confirmation email had directed me there. The reply was,

Furry Friends is a great local pet store with a welcoming atmosphere. Bill, the owner, is helpful and knowledgeable, always ready to offer advice or answer questions. He takes the time to understand what you need and makes thoughtful suggestions without any pressure. The store is clean, well stocked, and easy to browse, with reasonable prices across the board. It’s clear that Bill cares about both the animals and the people who shop there. A solid choice if you’re looking for friendly service and a more personal experience than the big chains.

Heather is the only person I trust with my dog's grooming from now on. My girl Whiskey has a coat with special needs due to hereditary hormone imbalances, and I always made a point to mention to any new groomer that she has arthritis in her hips so standing can be difficult for her. Heather makes sure to listen and respect these things. Whiskey has left other groomers exhausted, anxious to leave and sometimes even limping. I can only imagine the difference in compassion here because she leaves Furry Friends happy, tail wagging and excited to see me. The quality of the work is also beyond compare. She's always noticeably softer, smoother, shedding SO much less, and she smells great every time. Highly recommend!
