I visited Furry Friends back in October with no expectation of adopting. I was immediately impressed with the entire presentation, clean facilities, happy animals, professional staff, and pets that were clearly very well cared for. And then there was Meeka…an adorable and spunky Havanese puppy who gravitated toward me and completely melted my heart. It truly felt meant to be. Although I have a senior dog back home in NJ, this was my first adoption experience. The team guided me through every step, reviewed Meeka’s medical records and history, and even sent me home with a starter kit. Their follow-up has been just as impressive. They called the next day, continued regular check-ins, and sent email support for training and post-adoption care. They even connected me with a professional train

We adopted an approximately 2 year old terrier mix from Furry Friends in early September and we changed his name to Charlie. He was at two previous adoption facilities prior to being sent to Furry Friends so he came with some unexpected behavioral and health problems which we’ve been addressing. We were connected with a very good professional volunteer trainer there by the name of Chris. We made an appointment to meet Chris there with Charlie and he showed us some very helpful techniques to improve his behavior in different situations which helped immensely. All of the techniques that Chris recommended worked perfectly. We’ve had Charlie for a little over 3 months now and with the help of Chris he’s acclimated and bonded with us wonderfully. I am on vacation in Jupiter and wanted to visit a shelter (because I work at a rescue in Colorado). The Furry Friends facility was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The staff and volunteers were very well organized and obviously providing the best care possible for all the pets. Jen was extremely kind, patient, and capable of answering all of my questions (I had a lot)! Thank you so much for the important work that you do! We had a great experience adopting from Furry Friends! We originally went on a whim not expecting to adopt that day, but then ended up with 2 dogs (pictured below) our kids are so obsessed with their new family members! The staff are very knowledgeable and will help suggest animals that might fit your lifestyle, rather than just trying to rehome them. Facility is very clean and from what we saw, every single cat and dog are cared for very well. We highly recommend adopting from here! Thank you Furry Friends!!

The best vet I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve had dogs my entire life, and Alissa the vet tech is so caring and quick. Dr Andres was to the point, sweet and listened to my concern. My Mini doxie is a mess at the vet and they do such a great job with her, me and making sure all my concerns are addressed. Forever a fan of furry friends thank you!
