We just completed the basic obedience course and are so happy with the results. We have always been good at teaching our past dogs tricks but never mastered good leash skills, and they had some issues with separation anxiety and reactivity. When we adopted our new puppy, we knew we wanted to do things differently this time. Jen taught us so much about how dogs’ brains work and how to be a good leader for them. I can’t wait to do some more classes here!

I can’t recommend Jen enough! Me and my dog Cashew did her core obedience program, and she’s an incredible teacher. She makes everything super easy to understand and practice, and the training homework was always clear and VERY doable. The steps she laid out were in really reasonable increments, and the way they built on each other made training easy and straightforward. By the end of the program, Cashew’s obedience was solid, and I feel really confident continuing his training using what I learned from Jen. She set us up for success and made the whole process feel simple and rewarding.

We adopted a blue heeler, Zoey, from New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue in Colorado. Zoey had no training so we enrolled in a basic training class in Berthoud, CO. The training was exactly that, basic. We definitely needed more help with Zoey! We found Jen, owner of Front Range K9 Academy - Noco. Jen is fantastic! We came looking for help with our little Alaskan Klee Kai Churro, adorable little dude that everyone wants to get to know but was not ready for people invading his space...day one Jen understood how she was able to help and we started noticing the difference. Probably goes without saying as she helped us train him we learned alot about our own Churro and how we could help him become his best self . Jen was Phenomenal understanding our concerns and personalized his training to assure he was successful. Front Range K9 is the reason our oldest dog, Leo, has grown into a dog who can (mostly) enjoy the world. Leo is a nervous and tightly wound dog who needed the steady patience, time, and expertise that Jen and her incredible team brought to the table. At the Wheat Ridge location, Jen helped us not only understand and protect Leo’s boundaries and needs, but also how to challenge him.
