Friends of Rescue Thrift Store

I left the following review on the Friends of Rescue Facebook page, and instead of someone reaching out to me, they blocked me from the page: I have owned dogs my entire life. I have worked with various rescues for over 20 years (fostering, website design & development, transport, home checks, obedience training). I am home full time. I have a securely fenced-in yard. I take my dogs with me whenever I travel. I currently have one dog and am looking to adopt another one. I submitted an application to Friends of Rescue (FOR) and it was promptly declined. No phone call. No home visit. Just a quick no. We loveeeeeeee FOR Thrift Store!! First of all it’s a pretty drive and setting 💫. The front porch is always a great start for shopping and then once inside so much to choose from!!!!!!! Everything categorized for easy shopping and well displayed. And of course great bargains!! And the fact that it’s all done for the animals makes it all worthwhile. The volunteers are wonderful and selfless of the time they give to make your experience a great one. I’ve shopped here for years and highly definitely recommend FOR!!!!!!

I absolutely love the cause that this thrift store is supporting. The ladies here are extremely helpful and the sweetest. They all helped pack my dishes up and made sure nothing would get broken. I will definitely be back. I can’t recommend them enough!

My favorite thrift store! The store is well organized with very friendly and helpful volunteers. A very fun place to search for treasures!

Amazing! The staff was so kind and helpful and knowledgeable. Very reasonal prices and we're SO happy with our new puppy!
