Incredibly friendly staff, walk in adoptions, and super helpful! Didn't know what cat I wanted to adopt, and was in and out with a new feline friend within 20 minutes!! Would highly recommend!

We adopted Dolly (aka Luna) with no problems. They made the meet and greet, sleep over and final adoption so much easier than we expected. We love our Dolly! Their facility is so nice and the staff is the most animal loving group there!

We are beyond grateful to Kristin and Friends of Michigan Animal Rescue for helping us bring Charlie into our lives. As first time dog adopters, we had a lot of questions and nerves, but Kristin’s kindness, patience, and genuine care made us feel so supported every step of the way. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we found the right match, and thanks to her, we now have the sweetest boy who already feels like he’s always been part of our family. We can’t thank Kristin and team enough for giving us this gift!! 🥹

This is such a wonderful place filled with wonderful people and the sweetest pets that need furever homes! Everyone is so kind and friendly, they’re very good at explaining things, the animals are obviously very well loved and cared after. The staff and volunteer team is very dedicated and work very hard to ensure these animals are living to their best while they’re in the shelter. This is definitely the place to go to adopt!

My vehicle took a beating. My carpet took a beating. My trash can took a beating. My front lawn took a beating. The trash company hates my location because of the smell left by the dog I adopted from here. My car look like satan’s play ground and I’m still cleaning it. My carpet has to be professionally clean to get out all the smells and stains. I ended up retuning their dog and getting one from a shelter in Akron, Ohio. I will probably die cleaning up the mess their shelter dog left in treasured places. I didn’t think an animal could be so….terrible. The staff is friendly. I got the dog for free and spent over $1000 cleaning up the damage it left behind. The animals are not potty trained and the one I adopted had some undisclosed illness. The amount of vomit in my car should be illegal.
