Fresh Pals Pet Spa

Wonderful experience! Did a full dog grooming and they did an amazing job! I’m genuinely impressed my dog is very anxious and skittish. I honestly did not think grooming was going to be possible for her but I’m so glad we to went fresh pals! She looks amazing they did everything I requested out side of what was included in the full groom. The prices were very reasonable! We will definitely be returning for all future grooming needs! 10/10 recommend.

I could not recommend Fresh Pals enough!! They took such good care of our Bernedoodle. Everyone is extremely welcoming and take the time to understand the kind of wash/cut you are looking for. I also love how you can see the other dogs getting groomed when you walk in, they are all well taken care of. It takes a lot to trust someone with your pup, and I fully trust the team at fresh pals! Fresh pals is paws down, the absolute best place to get your pet groomed in and around Elmhurst. They are patient, professional, and a fair price. The facility is always clean and very welcoming. My dog is never afraid to go in that speaks volumes because he is a scaredy-cat. I would highly recommend Fresh Pals To my friend’s family in anyone with a dog, who needs a good cut!!!

Unfortunately it seems like you only have a good experience if you don’t deal with Letty. I called and spoke to a man on the phone who told me a basic wash was $50, and to add deshedding it would be another $10-15. I said no problem and booked an appointment. Upon arriving the woman Letty was trying to get me to book a more expensive wash I said no I’m good with this one. She looks at my dog and goes it will be $25 for the deshedding bc it’s a lot of fur, I said understood no problem. Texts me an hour and a half after my appointment which I did not get and then calls to let me know he is done. I go to pick him up and she says the price is actually $105 for all future bookings bc it was a lot of work bc he has a lot of hair. I brought my senior dog (18 years old) in for grooming and was very disappointed with the experience. At drop-off, the front desk staff called me before my actual appointment time to ask if I was coming, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. When I arrived, the woman at the desk held my dog in a way that seemed uncomfortable and frankly disrespectful. I was also told his fur was matted, but that simply wasn’t the case. He was dirty, yes, but not matted — I know the difference. At pickup, my husband had to rush over because our dog was being held by his front leg in a way that could have easily hurt him.
