Four Lakes Veterinary Clinic

My dog is very fearful of strangers and can become aggressive when scared. We have had problems in the past with veterinary staff not understanding or respecting her trust issues. I'm crying writing this review because our dog was able to go to the vet for the first time in a long time and have a normal stress free experience. They accommodated every one of her fears and made her so comfortable. I will be eternally grateful for the caring and loving staff there.

We are so grateful for the Four Lake’s responsiveness, flexibility, and genuine willingness to work with us. Our dog needs a little extra attention and effort, and they always meet him where he’s at with patience and care. It means a lot to have a veterinary team we can trust to support his unique needs.

Very disappointed. First and foremost, this clinic displayed a shocking level of carelessness which could have directly impacted our animals health and wellness. We took our two cats in for a blood draw and a round of immunizations. Only one of them was getting the immunizations. They are different ages, sizes, and colors. The staff member verbally confirmed which cat was which. However, they still gave the wrong cat a full round of immunizations which they did not need. Yes, I am aware this is not likely to have a negative affect on their health. On principle this is behavior is still egregious. Allergic reactions to medications are not uncommon. More importantly, this displayed a level of inattention bordering on negligence. I seriously doubt had this been a dose of insulin or another s

This is the best place for animals with behavioral issues. My chihuahua sees Dr Mcclanahan for behavioral support. The clinic’s fear free approach really supports him and he’s stopped panicking when he goes to the vet. He was a frequent flyer for a bit with a broken paw. He got incredible care and it has healed really well. Very appreciative of the whole team and how well they take care of Jimmy Chew.

I had an appointment for two cats here, when we went into the room and the vet tech arrived the said to let both cats out of their carriers. While my first cat was being inspected by the vet, the vet tech stepped on my other cat. Then when attempting to inspect the cat they stepped on, she was aggressive towards the tech trying to hold her down and was growling. They then said they couldn't complete the appointment and made me take drugs to give her before coming back. Animals should not be mistreated and then drugged to have a vet appointment. Go to Underdog Vet instead, cheaper and better employees.
