Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control Adoption Center

We had a siberian husky come to us in the driveway full of mud after midnight July 3rd. We called and reported her found later that morning but sadly despite their best efforts at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control the owners said they didn't want her back and relinquished their rights. After having her with us all this time waiting for her owners to come get her we decided to adopt her as she's now become a part of our family. She's an amazing dog and has blended great with our other fur babies and she's stolen our hearts. They were very nice and very respectable. My friend's dog had got out of the yard and got picked up and they were very helpful in helping me to help him get his dog

It's either a sad day or a happy day when coming here but regardless the workers are always considerate and understanding. Ive adopted and now had to put down pets from here. Adopting thru here is always something special and feels very meaningful. And having to put down my 14 year old cat I definitely feel like he was in good hands

Adopted Phoebe (FKA Sorrell, but it sounded too much like her cousin Elle) one week ago and we’re doing so well! The Animal Care center was incredibly kind and thorough. They did a great job of educating me on her history, and overall genuinely cared for her well-being. She loves all toys, snacks, balls, and exercise. So thankful she was able to have a good start to her life before meeting me.
