I got my pup Diego (formerly Nacho) from Foothills back in March 2025. I was incredibly happy with how he was taken care of at the shelter. The medical team, front desk staff, and rescue team are top notch and would recommend finding your next furry friend through the rescue. Thank you again!!

Vivian was an absolute gem! We came in as walk-ins and she helped us get signed in for a meet and greet. The whole process was quick, comfortable, and amazing! We were looking for two kittens and after letting us sit with them, we found the perfect two, Cupcake and Sparkle. Vivian was great in relaying their medical records, important adoption information, and upcoming shots needed for them. If you are looking to adopt, 100% you need to try visiting here. We are so happy to have found our two kittens. They’re potty trained, love cuddles, and love the cat tower we got them after Vivian’s suggestion. Thank you Foothills Animal Rescue!

We have adopted 2 OUTSTANDING adult dogs from Foothills(As well as our daughter, brother, and SIL's mother - all adopting). They adjusted quickly to our home and the other pets in it. They came to us already housebroken, well behaved and happy. We think so highly of this organization and their dedication to animal rescue.

I wouldn’t have been able to pick her up until Friday because I have work and other commitments and didn’t want to leave her alone in my apartment all day for two days, so I asked if I’d be able to put down a deposit to ensure I’d be able to take her home. I was told they don’t do deposits (something to do with liability), but that I wouldn’t have to worry as it was the middle of the week and it was highly unlikely she would be adopted in that time. I was a little hesitant, because I’d already had a cat I showed interest in get adopted, but was assured that I’d be able to pick her up Friday. I ev
