Cheryl has been immensely helpful with Rufus. He is a rescue so his history is unknown. He's very smart and a great dog until we would encounter another dog when out for a walk. I dreaded having to take him outside because of the concern we would run into someone else with a dog. He's a large Great Pyrenees mix and is very difficult to hold back. Thanks to Cheryl we now enjoy our walks again. In addition to the basic obedience training, he is now learning new tricks each week and training to be a service dog. Cheryl has a great method for training using positive reinforcement. No electric shock collar or painful discipline. Rufus loves when we train and so do I!

I am so happy I chose Five Star for my dog’s obedience/service dog training. Allie is a rescue dog with anxiety so I was unsure how she would do with formal training away from home. I love that Cheryl came to our home and worked with Allie in our environment in my presence because I needed training, too! Home training was advanced to public outings so all bases were covered. The methods used were gentle and humane and Allie responded beautifully. The cost was also about HALF of what I’d been quoted by away-from-home services. A dog who was once anxious and fearful of strangers has been transformed into a loving companion and service dog. I highly recommend this service for you & your dog!

Cheryl is wonderful with my 2 shelties, and they adore her! We're in the midst of training, and I've already seen great progress in their barking issues. We're also working on walking them on a double leash, and they're making good progress. She makes training fun for the dogs, and she has taught me a lot about being the alpha in my pack as it were

Cheryl, you told us to put a diaper on our dog as a housebreaking option! I have walked with our neighbor & their dog that you trained. It is definitely not trained! We hired Cheryl for our pup & had very limited progress. She was quick to take $900, but was pretty much a waste of money. We fired her. Our neighbors who did not have a good experience with her either. Please look elsewhere & save yourself time and money…

She was fabulous with my dog, gave me so much insight about how to handle a dog I had just rescued. Everything she said about him ,if I followed certain steps came true and he is the best family dog ever! She is also very insightful on pet Care and training tools. Highly recommend.
