Last night we took our dog to Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers. She suffers from ascites and cardiomegaly, and two days earlier she had been treated by her regular veterinarian in Miami, where abdominal fluid was drained. After returning home, however, she began swelling again and developed breathing difficulty. Her vet advised us to go to a nearby urgent care clinic to stabilize her, provide oxygen, and monitor her until he could evaluate her again the next day. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt overly commercial. We were initially told the doctor would evaluate her; afterward, we were informed that to stabilize her they would need to drain fluid again and hospitalize her for 24–48 hours, with no guarantee of improvement. When we consulted her regular vet again

Dr Beck and the vet techs are great. They are all very caring. Our 5 yr old Rottweiler, Shadow, was diagnosed w lymphoma in November and we started treatment in NY but we come to Fla for the winter and our oncologist in NY recommended Fetch so when we were here for Thanksgiving, we set up shadows first appt for Jan 6 to continue his ongoing weekly treatments so there would be no breaks in them. I was so nervous changing vets in the middle of shadows treatments but Dr Beck made us feel so comfortable and she explained the whole process again and it was exactly the same as NYs We are very happy to be doing Shadows weekly chemo treatments w Dr Beck and the vet techs! My cat was operated on for a sarcoma and then the surgeon recommended Fetch for further exam and treatment. Everyone was so kind and caring. The doctor explained thoroughly what the findings were and what the next steps could be. It’s a little scary to put your animals through radiation and or chemotherapy but I am confident in the care and advice I was given.

This office restored my faith in all veterinarians. We arrived around 11pm with my cat, worried and unable to afford much. The staff was so caring, willing to work with us on the bill, and communicated every step of the process. My cat had to stay 2 nights, and we were able to come visit him and they sent us photos throughout the day. The staff here truly cares about their animals. I cannot recommend this office enough. It is unlike any other vet experience we have ever had.

My dachshund had a traumatic injury. As I loaded her into the car crate, a friend recommended Fetch over my normal emergency vet. I was shocked when Fetch staff treated her for the severe pain before they asked for my credit card. They brought her back to me wrapped in a bright orange blanket. My dog looked so much more comfortable. Everybody was bright and friendly. Dr. Gyure was informative, did not mince words, and had excellent bedside manner. I anticipated the bill to be much higher. Highly professional, excellent service, clean, fast, friendly. Fetch is now my stand-by emergency vet. The end of the story is that she had surgery to remove calcified disc material from the vertebral canal and the spinal chord and nerve root returned to its normal position.
