Feeding Hills Veterinary Clinic

Our three dogs (2 goldens and a Great Dane) have been patients at Feeding Hills Vet since moving back to the area a few years ago and I can confidently say this is simply the best experience we’ve ever had with a vet office. Everyone who works here is kind, patient, and thorough and our dogs receive the best care I’ve ever experienced. Any care options are always well explained, with ample time for questions. My dogs each have their own unique (and often silly & dramatic) personalities, and the staff is so loving towards each of them! We’ve needed a wide array of services over the years, and most recently removal of some concerning bumps and dental procedures have come up and their care and approach throughout the entire situation has been phenomenal. My dog Kyah started going to this vet within the past year, and it was the best decision I ever made for her care. Yesterday, I had to make the incredibly difficult decision to help her cross the rainbow bridge due to unexpected medical complications. She was 10 years and 7 months old, a beautiful German Shepherd with a big heart. The entire team, including Dr. Goodwin, stayed late to give us the time and space we needed to say goodbye and to grieve. That compassion meant the world to me. We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved dog. The staff was so caring and empathizing to our needs that it helped us through a difficult situation. They are truly animal people who realize that pets are family. Thank you so much!

Brought our cat here with what we thought was a minor digestion issue. After being charged more than 1K for a battery of probably unnecessary tests, we were coldly told that our options were either to put the cat down or go forward with a procedure that would require hospitalization and likely run 6-8K. Since we were surprised, and since the cat didn't seem to be in any pain, we said we needed a day or two to consider what we were going to do. The vet had us sign something saying we refused treatment since she, again very coldly, said that the cat was likely to die at home. After a few days of baby food, Miralax, and care at home, the cat is completely back to normal and doing great. I am so grateful to Dr. Andrea and Suzie for helping our pup with a scary, unexpected benign growth in her mouth that needed surgical removal. They were educational, patient, kind, caring, and professional. I felt so safe knowing Macie was in their hands. They go above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough!
