Fearless K9

We had our first session with Josh, at Fearless K9. He was recommended to us by the behavior specialist at the DCSPCA. We found Josh to be a proactive listener and observer. He addressed every concern we had. He gave clear explanations with follow through practice. He did not push any one method, but teaches, explains the rationale, then lets you choose the solution/strategy that will work best for your family and your specific dog needs. Everything Josh taught us is behavior based, easy to understand and follow through with at home. He had our big, bouncy, headstrong, shelter rescue dog following commands and working with us before our first session was over. This first session was so positive that we went home, discussed it, and decided to sign up for the 5 lesson package to follow throu

Josh fills every moment of your session with helpful information and invaluable demonstrations. He is flexible and customizes easch lesson to you and your dog's needs. He has helped me with both of my dogs behavioral problems, showed us how to fine tune commands, and we even learned scent work for fun once the behavioral issues were under control! He has helped, and continues to help me and many of my friends maintain peace and a healthier relationship with their pups.

I should have left a review YEARS ago when I first met Josh in the shelter life, not only have I learned a lot from Josh when it comes to training n helping me with my training career. He is helping me with my pack! We are first starting with the problem child I call her lol with her issues going after my one female dog and her insecurities and then working our way from there, needless to say Josh is the “ish” (can’t curse) lol when it comes to training. Hands down the best in the area for real for real people. I idolized what he does man especially for these dogs, he’s not one of these trainers that just train dogs for the money. He does that “ish” for the dogs and help the people that come to him! I respect that so much and what’s even better he is a really dope person in general at that

Training my 4 month old Bernedoodle, Norm, who has some aggressive and unique traits for his breed— Josh has been wildly helpful, and a fantastic resource and I can honestly say I’d be going crazy if I didn’t have him to help me. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Josh is AMAZING. If you are having anything from behavioral issues to training, Josh can do it all. He doesn't just train the dog. He trains you to be a better owner for your dog. I will never go to another trainer ever again. Wish I could give more than 5 starts!!!!
