Farmington Regional Animal Shelter

A friend told me about the animal shelter was having a free adoption event. I really wanted to adopt a cat was the last one left, he's 2 years old. I took one look and thought he was a sweet boy. I took a chance and adopted him. I'm so glad I did, he is a great cat!

Farmington Regional Animal Shelter is an amazing pet shelter! They really care for the animals and take proper care of them. The animals are always healthy and well looked after. They receive great veterinary care from the veterinarians there. I got my furry best friends from here and am very grateful. Thank you guy’s for providing the 4 Corners area with a great shelter to bring animals and to adopt them as well!

This is the best place to pet some cats and walk some dogs! I’ve been volunteering at the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter for a while and I enjoy it a lot. Edit 2025: I’ve been volunteering to do Doggie Day Out since late 2024. First three photos are Thorin, a dog who I took for Doggie Day Out on August 14, 2025. I got my best friend McNulty, almost a year ago. My fiance and I wanted a puppy that we could love and come home too. We wanted a puppy with a back story. He doesn't let his lack of a leg hold him down. He is a survivor and a fighter but mostly a big softy. Our baby at first sight was just an amazing experience. He completes my life. He is now a service dog, loves cats and kittens, runs and plays with his friends at the dog park. Isn't afraid of water anymore... his papa (my fiance) carried him till he was brave enough to swim. Communicates with his buttons and loves to cuddle and watch TV when I get home. 😍 Thank you for the smooth adoption process. Without him, our lives would have been dull. He brings color and life to us.

This place is great. The people at the counter when I surrendered a dog are very very nice. They always have a smile on their face. They are very comforting.
