Dr. Galbo and her team are amazing. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. I took my Doberman Bianca (she had to look good for Martha Stewart's commercial on Christmas day/halftime show) and my Siamese cat Bella there, and I couldn't be happier. This is a very special place. They took exceptional care for our dog for years until it was her time. When it was, they went above and beyond to give her a calm, loving, patient send off to the other side. I cannot even begin to express on here how wonderful the staff and doctors are at Farmington Animal Hospital. We were never pressured to make expensive decisions, we were always given options, and never felt judged. This is by far the best vet in the greater Hartford Area.

They are lovely with our cat Gus and treat him and us very well! I have an anxious disposition and they always let me call and ask questions and respond with kindness. Gus loves them too (: their back rooms have a view of some birdfeeders too which seemed like a 10/5 star rating to Gus. Edit: 2 years later and we are still thrilled to take Gus to Farmington animal hospital. They go above and beyond to take care of Gus and answer my many questions and concerns. Highly reccomend.

The receptionist, Melissa, was very unprofessional over the phone. It’s disappointing to experience such poor hospitality when searching for a hospital to care for my pet. Fortunately, I was later assisted by another staff member who was patient, respectful, and much more helpful.

My sweet cat, who is a rescue from St Thomas, needed to have oral surgery. Needless to say I was very concerned as the surgery requires anesthesia in addition to the tooth extraction itself. It was my first experience with a pet having surgery of any kind. Everything went well and my cat didn’t exhibit any issues after surgery. I was very relieved and so happy we were at Farmington Animal Hospital. They were fantastic.
