Fantastic Fins

Dale is hands down the best in the business. If you’re into fish—especially plecos—this is the place to go. From common varieties to some of the rarest types you won’t find anywhere else, his selection is incredible. I was searching everywhere for a dwarf snowball pleco, and Dale was the only store in Michigan that had them. You can immediately tell how passionate and knowledgeable he is. He truly cares about the health of his fish and is incredibly ethical—he won’t sell a fish if it doesn’t look like it’s in ideal condition. That kind of integrity is rare and really shows how much he values both his animals and his customers. These tanks are clearly maintained by someone who knows fish. The systems are full, active, and stocked with species that serious hobbyists actually keep—not the three plastic-decor setups you see in big-box stores. The fish look healthy, the systems are stable, and the variety is incredible. Anyone who has actually spent time in serious aquarium shops knows the difference between a sterile-looking display and a well-run system. If you want a real aquarium shop run by someone who genuinely knows and cares about fish, this is exactly that place.

Amazing place!!! Would recommend to everyone. If I could leave a 6 star review, I would! Mr Dale is amazing at his job, knows about everything to know about fish! And has an amazing selection of fish and shrimp as well! I call him quite often with questions and he always answers! Best fish store I’ve ever been to!

This place is amazing. Huge freshwater selection, clean tanks, very reasonable prices, healthy fish, and the best part is the owner (who was working at the time of our visit) is the most knowledgeable aquatics store employee I have ever met. He had answers for EVERYTHING. I live two hours drive from this store and I will 100% be making the trip to this place the next time I need anything.

If I could give 0 stars I would. TL:DR, This place isn't just not spic and span this place is disgusting. The store is dirty and dusty, there are swarms of nats buzzing around and the fish tanks are dirty and can barely be seen into, also the sign on the store front is broken and clearly has been broken for a while with no repairs. There are fish that need serious medical care and many of the fish are showing signs of stress and neglect. I arrived right at 12pm when the store was opening with a friend. The worker was just sitting in his vehicle and just opened the shop as we where walking up to the store. When we looked around the bags of gravel are so covered in dust and dirt that its caked on and can't be easily removed. There where 3 swarms of Nats buzzing around our heads. The tanks ar
