What a great adoption experience! I found the exact kitty I had been looking for right away. Spent time together.. we were leaving with our newest edition to our family in under an hour! Everyone was so nice and helpful! They even hooked us up with a lot of cool starter supplies due to our $5 donation! I may look to donate to them down the road! We are so in love with our cat! His name was Larry, but we're changing it to Steve.. or Stevie! 😁❤️🐈‍⬛

I love the cat I adopted from here, but she was sick. We thought we were adopting a healthy cat but she had intestinal parasites and some kind of infection on her ears. The vet we took her to after adoption also immediately realized she had stomatitis and needed all her teeth extracted, which isn’t the shelter’s fault as it’s an auto-immune condition, but considering the vet was able to detect it so early, I would have thought the shelter would have warned us. If you adopt here, please take your animal for their first check up as soon as possible just in case.

Found my dog Rex through this shelter. Process was fast with the staff being responsive within the day. They seemed eager to schedule a visit, I had to reschedule for the next day and thought I blew my chance but they worked with me! Their rates for puppies are extremely reasonable compared to other shelters! I met him first then brought in my dog to meet him and talked with staff about making such a big decision. They eased my mind and I brought him home that day! I had a great first time adoption experience and now will always prefer shelters! He has been such a joy in our lives, I don’t regret bringing him home one bit.

We picked up brother and sister Cheasapeake Bay Retrievers here 10 years ago and they have been the best dogs we've had. This place takes good care of their animals. We are grateful for the addition to our family.
