Embarking Dogs

Amber was great to work with. We tried two different trainers before we found Embarking Dogs. We needed some individual training sessions and Amber was willing to work with both of our dogs, and meet with us in our environment, at our home and favorite walking trails. She was knowledgeable and experienced and gave us tools to work towards goals that were important to us. Remmie and Marco say thank you!

We have a reactive rescue and took Amber’s reactive dog class. We found the class sessions and supplemental materials very helpful, and have made some progress with the management techniques we learned! We really appreciated having real-life practice opportunities and enjoyed working with Amber. Overall, we would absolutely recommend training with Amber and Embarking Dogs, but we wish they were more responsive to email (we have seen no response to any emails since completing our class).

I can't recommend their Puppy Adventure Camp highly enough honestly. I work full time and needed a way to get my pup exercised and socialized, but didn't want to put him into daycare immediately. I started bringing him to their Puppy Adventure Camp, and it's been an amazing experience. They work with him on manners, short car rides, socialization, and he gets playtime with a couple of other puppies too. The trainers are positive and keep me informed about his progress and what he does during sessions, as well as give me tips so I can stay consistent with him. I haven't done their other programs, but Puppy Adventure Camp has been a lifesaver.

Amber is an amazing trainer and we are fortunate to have her as a resource when working with our loveable, overly excitable, highly anxious 65 lb lab mix. With her help and training tips we've seen him grow leaps and bounds!

Amber has it all, alot skill, passion for what she does, and effective communication. er puppy levels program is flexible , varied and effective. Plus classes are fun! Couldn't recommend anyone more highly.
