Elm City Vet

My Yorkie, Bonnie, became very ill after eating something she shouldn’t have. She developed severe vomiting and diarrhea and began to spiral quickly. With nearby clinics in Milford about to close, Elm City Vet agreed to see her immediately and began treatment without delay. I want to emphasize how kind, attentive, and professional the entire staff was. Dr. Vail, along with Tina and Kayla, treated Bonnie with genuine warmth and compassion; the way you would hope someone would care for a member of your family. By the time we returned home, Bonnie was already back to her happy, energetic self. Walked pass this place last year and thinking if I get a dog one day, I’ll bring her back to here - here she is! Staffs here are all so nice and friendly and effective! My dog’s very nervous but she treated her so nice with patience. I trust my dog’s gonna be taken good care of here.

We had a wonderful experience with this vet office. Everyone was incredibly kind, and the assistants in particular were such positive, warm individuals. They went out of their way to squeeze us in before closing and took the time to thoroughly explain everything, making sure we understood all the next steps for care. We never felt rushed, and their compassion really put us at ease. We’re very grateful and would absolutely recommend them.

He's our first, he's a rescue. We opted to use the same vet since his records were already there. Transition was smooth. Doctor made age-appropriate suggestions and assisted in guiding us with his nutrition. Christian was awesome, gave us additional information on how to effectively care for Banjo and expressed genuine interest in him. The entire staff was superb but Christian is awesome! Phenomenal care, exceptional service and most importantly—all the love and empathy for my pup! Every single person here, from the front desk to the vet and vet techs, is so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They don’t just care for my dog — they also listen and support me as a pet owner. Animals are family to me and I always want to make sure I’m giving them the best possible care. The team always takes the time to address my concerns, answer my questions and make me feel heard and understood. I’m endlessly grateful for the compassion and dedication they show every visit.
