After an unexpected emergency colic surgery and very traumatic experience for me and my horse, I was so overwhelmed with her medications and recovery needs. With a referral from a previous client, I called Gina and was so relieved when she told me how affordable it was for post-op rehab. Two days later she picked her up for me from the vet hospital. I emailed my concerns on 3/22, today is 4/3, I have heard radio silence, thus my review. We are new to the horse world and everyone here seemed very supportive and communicative! We adopted a very sweet mini from them. She was immediately lame coming off the trailer (Elite Equine hauled) and I was told it’s because her hooves were just trimmed and she was pretty long before so she was sore. My horse was diagnosed with Kissing Spine about a year and a half ago now. Elite Equine took excellent care of him from the get go, with transportation to and from the surgery facility in Texas, and several months of rehab following.
