Great shelter and many deserving animals there. Found our wonderful 6 month old cat, you could tell the staff worked to give her love and care to set her up for a successful transiton!

We found a two year old male seal point Siamese . The second visit I took him home. But our vintage female tuxedo of 17 years being our single roommate was not having it. She exhausted herself trying to evict him from our ten acres. Now that the tables are turned, not sure that he will ever cease to pursue her. Should have asked their opinion!

I brought some kittens in to the shelter on November 10th 2025 and they told me that a few were not 8 weeks old yet and asked if I could bring the mother in to nurse them. I hesitated because of a previous experience about bring my cat in with the promise of my pet being returned to me in about 3 to 4 weeks. I checked in almost every week because I was worried about my cat and they told me at first it would be another 3 weeks and I said okay. I called again early January and they told me about another week. I called once again today January 26th 2026 and got told my cat was adopted out. My recommendation for this place is dont trust anything they tell you and they dont care if you get reunited with your pet as long as they can make a quick buck.

Had to come on here to say that I had the WORST experience here this morning. Called yesterday morning about a dog on the website and showed up this morning to visit with him. Sat with the dog for 45 minutes and I needed to put a “hold” on him. The lady who had been with the dog and I told me she would let the front know I had a hold on him. My fault for not checking with the front that she had let them know, because after about 30 minutes I came back in to adopt and the dog was gone. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and tried to make up a lie that I had never even been in there this morning. I of course was aggravated as the dog had gotten adopted in the short time I was gone. I did raise my voice when speaking to the lady at the front out of anger and she decided to call the
