Animal Outreach of the Mother Lode

Brought my daughter here, we wanted to pick up 2 kittens. After my daughter played with a couple kittens we decided on a pair. The lady who was working asked us some questions and we informed her they would be indoor outdoor cats. She said she would have to ask to see if this was ok. She showed up a few minutes later with a woman. This lady, who was not that pleasant said the kittens could never be outside cats, predators would kill them. We informed her they would go in and out and she said no we could not adopt the kittens. Pretty strange, in my opinions cats love going outside.

Great experience, front staff and vet staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We booked an appointment for flea medication. It was just a quick exam and we were off with our dosage. No long wait or anything(it was a weekday mid day). Highly recommend

We took our puppy in just after his first birthday to be neutered, and everyone at Animal Outreach of the Mother Lode (from the front desk to the Veterinarian, and everyone in between) were so kind and knowledgeable. They did a great job with his procedure, and the hardest part has been keeping him from playing. Which I think speaks to how great they did and how good he's feeling just two days later. Thank you for providing a much needed service for a reasonable price, while also being excellent at what you do!

This is the best vet in the county for your cat. I brought a friendly stray in to have her spayed, she has the cleanest incision that I have ever seen on a spayed cat. No bleeding, no swelling, no scabs, perfectly straight. I’ve seen some cats with huge spay scars, this one was done by someone who is extremely skilled, and obviously cares about the animals that they are working on. Thank you animal outreach, I will be returning.

My cat got spayed so far she seems okay. UPDATE: My cat had no complications and she so happy to be back outside with her cat sister and friends. No more babies. Yay!!!
