I went to this Veterinarian clinic because of Google reviews about Tyler Bloedel so I want to return the favor. I was looking for a new exotic vet to see my rabbits located in Ventura. This clinic and the staff made it a great first experience. First, I requested the vet tech to weigh one of my rabbits on the floor as she is very fiesty and will try and leap out of your arms or when on a table and my greatest fear is her breaking a leg in doing so. The vet tech gladly obliged my request. (The previous exotic vet we went to at another clinic last year would not do so.) Tyler and the vet tech handled both of my rabbits with care. The Drs and technicians at this office are true proffesionals and very special. Dr. Bloedel is truly one of a kind. The manner by which he explains what he finds and sees always puts me at ease that my dogs are in the right hands. Truly a good hearted caring man.

I took my Cattle Dog Blue Heeler for his check up and he had an Excellent vet visit! The Assistant was very Helpful, Friendly, Kind and Caring Excellent Service and Dr. Pelayo is the Best she is very Thorough, Kind, Great, Informative, Caring, Friendly and a good Listener! I truly can’t say enough good things about East Ventura Animal Hospital. I’ve been bringing my rabbits here since 2016, after moving to Ventura, and this is now my fourth set of rescued bunnies. As someone who has owned and rescued rabbits for many years, one of my biggest concerns when I relocated was finding consistent, specialized care. Bunnies are considered exotic animals, and not every veterinary office has a doctor on staff who truly specializes in exotic care as a regular part of their team.
