East Lake Animal Clinic

I love East Lake! Everyone is so friendly, kind, knowledgeable, professional, and very approachable. I absolutely love Dr. Rachel Miller, you can tell she enjoys what she's doing and giving good, quality care is important. I have brought 5 different pets in with various needs and she handles each visit so well. The office staff is absolutely delightful and the waiting room is a very warm and pleasant place to be. I just recently changed vets and I am so much happier with East Lake's care!

My cat became extremely ill from a respiratory infection. The East Lake Animal Clinic was able to offer me a same-day visit. The staff was professional, efficient, and accommodating. Now my cat is on her way to feeling better! I highly recommend this clinic and plan to take my other cats in for vaccinations soon. It's terrific to have trusted, quality veterinary care in town. I am grateful to have access to veterinary care at a reasonable cost here in Watsonville. Thank you, East Lake Animal Clinic!

I thought hard and long about posting a review because there was so many positives and negatives experiences when I last went in. My dog and I got attacked by two dogs a few weeks ago. We both suffered a couple of wounds and got treated the morning after it happened. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful in getting me in sooner and overall was kind and caring in person and over the phone. The vet however made a couple of rude comments and although she helped my dog, it was the comments that left me feeling disappointed. My dog and I were shaken up about what had happened the evening before, as well as in pain and tired. A little more kindness from the vet would have been appreciated. The actual veterinarians seem to care about the animals and provide decent care. But, it’s so frustrating trying to get someone on the phone. I’ve spent up to thirty mins on hold. Given the prices I am sure they could improve phone staffing. I had been there numerous times and one day had to cancel an appointment due to a very severe migraine. They told me that in the future I would need to prepay for my appointments. I have been to countless vets over the years and have never seen this practice before. Lastly, one of the techs was super rude to me when I explained how hard it was for my dog to wear the post-op collar due to our staircases at home. I brought my beloved dog here because it was the only clinic opened when my dog passed. They were kind when I dropped her off. And sent me her paw prints. I never took prints of her paws so this was a beautiful and thoughtful gesture from their part. I recommend them 100%
